Nomad Policy License — Checkout Terms
By purchasing this digital policy, procedure, standard, template, checklist, or related material (the “Materials”), you agree to the following short-form terms. The full “Nomad Policy License + Use Terms” included with your download controls if there is any conflict.
- License scope (single entity). You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for internal business use by one legal entity and its employees/contractors working on its behalf. Affiliates, subsidiaries, clients, and portfolio companies are not included unless you purchase an expanded license.
- No resale or redistribution. You may not sell, sublicense, share, post, distribute, or make the Materials available to any third party (including by upload to public/shared repositories, template libraries, or “community” drives).
- Tailoring responsibility. The Materials are provided as general governance resources and must be tailored to your environment (systems, vendors, data types, jurisdictions, and industry obligations). You are responsible for reviewing and approving the Materials before use.
- No legal advice; no client relationship. Purchase and use of the Materials does not create an attorney-client relationship, consulting engagement, fiduciary relationship, or any other professional services relationship. The Materials are not legal advice.
- Intellectual property. The Materials are Nomad Cyber Concepts, LLC original work product and remain Nomad’s intellectual property. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
- Confidentiality of work product. You agree to protect the Materials from unauthorized access and to limit access to personnel with a legitimate need to implement them.
- No guarantees. The Materials do not guarantee compliance, certification, audit outcomes, or risk elimination. Results depend on implementation, controls, oversight, and your specific facts.
- Warranty disclaimer; limitation of liability. THE MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOMAD WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS/REVENUE. NOMAD’S TOTAL LIABILITY RELATING TO THE MATERIALS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE MATERIALS.
- Termination. This license terminates immediately upon breach. Upon termination, you must stop using and delete/destroy copies of the Materials.
- Governing law. Unless otherwise stated in the full terms, governing law and venue are as specified in the full “Nomad Policy License + Use Terms” included with your download.
